King Tide bandmates (profiles of each of us, below).
Veterans of popular bands in Boston’s Metro West, we were restless to once again play the music from the 60s through the 80s that infused our earlier days. King Tide is the project we are creating to harness our restlessness, while getting audiences from Cape Cod and surrounding regions on their feet. All fun!

Lead Vocals and Guitar
George is a singer-songwriter with songs on 6 albums recorded with Boston local bands, SideStreet and The Maple Street Project, as well as singles and album releases with both bands.
George was involved in the earliest efforts that led to the founding of King Tide, joining the band on acoustic and electric guitars and as a lead singer.
George’s music career goes back over decades that involved both cover and original bands and which has always included heavy emphasis on vocal harmonies. His performance experience includes bars and nightclubs, weddings, coffee houses and festivals, most notably the Boston Music Festival, Wellfleet PorchFest, Fiddler’s Grove Bluegrass Festival, Backroom at the Burren, Paradise Theatre, House of Blues and Club Passim, along with many others.
George’s early, and now current years involved immersion in folk and rock music with intervening decades in a career as corporate attorney, including high level roles at General Electric Company for 20 years.
George is also a family man. During those career years George became a father and now has 3 amazing adult daughters and 9 grandchildren, who frequently attend the performances of both King Tide and SideStreet. George also is an avid Pickleball player and loves to travel.

Lead Vocals
Roberta brings the power, soul, and attitude that make classic rock come alive.
With a voice built for the stage and a love for the great music of the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s, she brings energy and personality to every King Tide performance.
Whether she’s delivering a rock anthem or a soulful favorite, Roberta’s goal is simple: make the crowd sing, dance, and have a great time.

Drums
John's interest in drumming began at an early age, with his father and he listening to the Dave Brubeck Quartet, and taking apart the polyrhythms laid down by Joe Morello, the quartet’s drummer. In short order he graduated to primitive snare drums we would fashion out of parchment paper and round fruit cake tins, using chop sticks as drum sticks. When it was clear, several fruit cake tins later, that he wasn’t giving up on drum, his parents gave in and gave him a genuine snare drum for his 11th Christmas. Sixty years later John continues to enjoy the delights. of drumming.
John's style is to provide musicality in support of the song, whether it be precision for a classical piece, or space and groove for a Motown tune.
Other interests are cycling, kayaking, Bible studies, and restoring older (pre-60’s) drums. And, yes, if so requested John will happily fashion a snare drum out of parchment paper and a discarded fruit cake tin.

Keyboards and Vocals
Music has been part of Steve's life forever. He grew up listening to the music his parents loved and playing trombone. He eventually learned to bang out chords on the piano for sing-alongs to Elton John, Billy Joel, musicals, Raffi, Disney movies, and Christmas tunes. Somehow, this all led to keyboards and rock ’n’ roll.
In 2009, he joined SIX, playing classic rock around the Boston area in bars, parks, theaters, and private events. He is thrilled to be restarting his musical journey on Cape Cod with his King Tide bandmates.
Steve loves the challenge of finding the right keyboard sound, the vocal harmony, and the groove to make a song come alive. When King Tide hits the stage, he’s all about having a blast and seeing the audience doing the same.
Steve recently wrapped up a long and sundry career in multiple, global technology leadership positions. When not making music, Steve enjoys fun with his family, running, traveling, biking, golfing, volunteering, and building stuff.

Lead Guitar
Adam grew up listening to the music of his parents: classical and jazz. As a teenager, his older brother got him into blues guitar. Having lived overseas for most of his career, he's been influenced by several types of music.
Adam recently returned to the US and is very pleased to have found such camaraderie and opportunity to learn and perform with King Tide.
Other obsessions include sailing, diving, DIY home improvement projects, biking, and international travel.
